Our very own Sheree Bagensie has created a facebook page for our chapter. It is Treasure Coast FSMTA on facebook. Please come visit and join us in daily chatter.....or whatever we are supposed to do there. Actually, it's a nice way to keep up with what friends and family and other chapter members are up to........ Our required classes with Pete Whitridge was quite a success. There were over 60 therapists attending and we had a chance to interact with a lot of non-members. Pete always does a great job for us and we are so lucky to have him right here on the Treasure Coast.
Scott Kingsbury will teach a two hour class on orthoflexology. At our monthly meeting is November 19 at 7:00PM at Indian River State College in Ft. Pierce. Dr. Doreste, who presented at our October meeting, is interested in doing a seminar in our area if we can get enough people together. Sheree Bagensie has offered to help coordinate the event so anyone interested should contact her at 772-336-3266 or

Our chapter would like to do something publicly and locally for Massage Therapy Awareness.
As a reminder, anyone who is interested in doing chair massage at the Treasure Coast Mall during the holiday shopping season needs to contact Sheree Bagensie no later than Wednesday, November 12th. The FSMTA has been invited to offer chair massage at the mall beginning on Friday, November 28th and every Saturday and Sunday through Christmas. All proceeds will go to Hibiscus Children's Center, a not-for-profit charitable organization fighting child abuse with care, counseling, intervention - and your help. This is a wonderful opportunity to donate your time for a much needed cause, network with other members of your Treasure Coast FSMTA Chapter, and market yourself to potential new clients. Chair massage is the single most effective means for getting potential massage clients to experience your touch. If you are not able to donate your time but maybe you have a chair to offer, that would also be appreciated. This could be a great opportunity to pass out cards, promote your office, and to let our community know that we are here and we are involved.
We will have chapter elections in January so if you would like to run for a chapter office please contact me. We are still lacking a chapter secretary but all positions are up for re-election.
As for now, our monthly meetings will be at IRCC, in bldg.R, room 248.
